With an easy, low profile installation, the MrCool® DIY® Series 12k BTU Ceiling Cassette provides efficient heating and cooling that is perfect for any space, making it one of the most versatile ceiling units ever. The cassette is offered in multi-zone and single-zone systems and range from .5 to 1.5 tons, proving coverage for both large and small areas. Unlike other ceiling cassettes, the MrCool® DIY® Series 12k BTU Ceiling Cassette doesn’t have strict installation requirements and can be recessed between all types of joists on 16 inch center including pre-manufactured I-joists. Since it doesn’t require ductwork or wall space, it is perfect for new construction or retrofits. Included with this cassette is the MrCool® DIY® Quick Connect® line set that is precharged with R-410A refrigerant so no vacuuming is required. The No-Vac® Coupler can be used to increase the length of the line set. In addition to the many operational modes and quiet operation, the cassette has an Elevation function that lowers the filter panel for easy maintenance of the air filter.
